Born Free Foundation: The Born Free Foundation is an international wildlife charity that campaigns to “Keep Wildlife in the Wild”. It protects wild animals in their natural habitat, campaigns against the keeping of wild animals in captivity and rescues wild animals in need.

Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO):  India’s apex animal rights organisation with most comprehensive NGO-network of animal rights workers, activists, supporters, advocates, campaigners for the rights of animals in India. FIAPO works with over 170+ member organizations and over 1000 activists in more than 70 cities across India.

Free the Wild (FTW): FTW endeavours to stop the suffering of wild animals in captivity and ultimately find a way to release them into sanctuaries or better equipped zoos. 

Four Paws International: Global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them. Their vision is a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA): PETA is an American animal rights organization based in Norfolk, Virginia. Its slogan is “Animals are not ours to experiment on, eat, wear, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.”

Voice for Asian Elephants Society (VFAES):VFAES is an organization with a vision to protect endangered Asian elephants and their habitats in India, while also ensuring that native people and those living near the forest fringes have their basic needs met, so they will be inspired to coexist peacefully with these magnificent animals.

World Animal Protection (WAP):  World Animal Protection, formerly The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) is an international non-profit animal rights organization that has been in operation for over 30 years. The charity describes its vision as: A world where animal rights matters and animal cruelty has ended. The charity has regional hubs in: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America and offices in 14 countries. Its headquarters is in London.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF):The World Wide Fund for Nature is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961 that works in the field of wilderness preservation and the reduction of human impact on the environment.
