Nikita Dhawan, Founder, Youth for Animals, is a talk-show host for All About Animals Radio, an ad free community talk radio station /podcast dedicated to all animals and those who protect and advocate for them. Below are the episodes that Nikita has hosted for TripleA Radio.
Nikita from Youth for Animals talks with Mark Stratton about his new campaign to free Bunka, a 15 year old Asian bull elephant kept in solitary confinement at the Yerevan zoo in Armenia. Nikita talks with Dr. Marion Garai, a specialist in animal behaviour who focuses on the social behaviour and psychology of elephants. Dr. Garai serves as a member of the IUCN/SCC African Elephant Specialist Group as well as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Elephant Group in Germany and Co-founder and Director of the Elephant Specialist Advisory Group NPC, South Africa. She is currently a trustee at the Elephant Reintegration Trust (ERT).
Nikita Dhawan from Youth for Animals talks with Anthony E. Lovell, an Endangered-Wildlife poet and founder of "The One Million Poetry”. Anthony Lovell founded The One Million Poetry Project in collaboration with Ingrid Lung of The Earth Agency in response to the 2019 IPBES report that identified up to 1,000,000 species were at risk of extinction from human activity.
Nikita converses with Nalini Ramachandran who is an author of multiple books, including Trumpet Calls: Epic Tales of Extraordinary Elephants. Nalini has worked as a writer and an editor across various media—film and television, newspapers and magazines, children's books and graphic novels. Her works often explore the intersections between culture, nature, wildlife, and human existence.

Since 1995, The Elephant Sanctuary has provided "a home and a herd” to 28 elephants retired from performance and exhibition in its 3060 acre facility.
